ULM Dental Hygiene's mobile unit provides practical experience for students while serving the region.

The School of Pharmacy at ULM is Louisiana's only publicly supported comprehensive center for pharmaceutical education, research, and service.

State of the art simulation labs allow students to perfect their skills before being placed in a clinical environment.

Speech and Hearing Clinic evaluates and treats individuals of all ages who experience communication problems.

Certification and licensure pass rates are consistently above the national average and often at 100%.

Students are prepared to work in a variety of health care professions.


The College of Health and Pharmaceutical Sciences is dedicated to the education of health care professionals that serve the people of Louisiana and beyond. The College is comprised of three schools that offer degrees at the undergraduate and graduate level.

ULM gerontology obtains mayoral proclamation for Service Recognition Day

Representatives from the University of Louisiana at Monroe gerontology department, in collaboration with ULM's Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), and AmeriCorps, recently celebrated Service Recognition Day, which was officially proclaimed as April 10, by Mayors Jamie Mayo of Monroe and Dave Norris of West Monroe.

eULM Ph.D. student nominated for national social work award

Julie de Azevedo Hanks, a Ph.D. student in the University of Louisiana at Monroe's online marriage and family therapy program, has been nominated for the 2015 Media Award by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) for her blog at JulieHanks.com.
