ULM Institute of Gerontology Receives $30,000 for Medicare Outreach
The Institute of Gerontology at the University of Louisiana at Monroe received a $30,000 grant for a survey project titled “Statewide Outreach Assessment and Survey of Low Income Medicare Recipients.”

KEDM public radio, 90.3 FM, announces the addition of Bob Lenox to its staff as the station’s news and public affairs director. The station broadcasts from the campus of the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

ULM to host art show “We Saw the Wrecked” Oct. 12 - Nov. 5
The University of Louisiana at Monroe’s Division of Art will present a solo painting exhibition by Michael Stillion titled “We Saw the Wrecked” from Oct. 12-Nov. 5 in the Bry Art Gallery. The exhibition is free and open to the public from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday-Thursday, and from 8 a.m.-Noon on Fridays. A “Gallery Talk” with the artist will be held at 2 p.m. on Nov. 5.

ULM secures nearly $300,000 for Violence Prevention and Intervention

Dr. Robert Hanser of the department of criminal justice, along with the co-director Dr. Pamela Saulsberry, head of the department of social work, recently obtained the $299,995 grant through the Department of Justice's Office on Violence against Women.
