Anna is a native of Baton Rouge, and an alumna of Northwestern State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management and Tourism with a minor in Communication. In addition to serving as our Career Counselor, Anna is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education. Her responsibilities include outreach to ULM’s faculty, alumni, and students, as well as providing career development and job search counseling to students and alumni.
Her goal is to make students—those who have declared their major and those who are undecided—more aware of the many services that the Office of Career Connections provides. By developing connections with students and employers, Anna can help students identify a good job fit for their individual needs. Students should understand that career paths today are often no longer linear, so it is acceptable to try on many different “shoes”; some will fit better than others. Finding the career path that suits you can sometimes be challenging and stressful, but Anna and the Office of Career Connections will help you on your way to success.
