ULM professor releases textbook

Dr. Kenneth Clow--Biedenharn Endowed Chair in Business at the University of Louisiana at Monroe--and Dana-Nicoleta Lascu of the University of Richmond recently collaborated on a 15-chapter textbook designed for introductory courses in marketing.

ULM professor earns $56,000 Board of Regents grant

As part of the Louisiana Board of Regents Research and Development Program, Dr. Srinivas Garlapati, an assistant professor of biology at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, was granted $56,350 to study alternative treatments for giardiasis--a parasitic intestinal infection found in streams, lakes, pools, spas, and wells.

ULM construction receives $86,000 donation

Today, the Louisiana Contractors Educational Trust Fund (CETF) presented a check for $86,500 to Dr. Ed Brayton, director of University of Louisiana at Monroe School of Construction, as part of an ongoing partnership to help maintain and enhance the ULM construction program.

Michael Deschamp, a 2013 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe, has published his second novel, titled "One Egg or Two"-- a collection of short stories. The book explores family, friendship, and tragedy through a host of characters who engage the audience with their stories.

ULM unveils asbestos analysis lab

John Herrock of the University of Louisiana at Monroe's Toxicology Department cut the ribbon on ULM's newest multi-purpose resource--the Toxicology Asbestos Analysis Laboratory. The lab will serve as a teaching facility, a research lab, and a community resource.
