ULM to host Warhawk Mock Trial Jamboree

The University of Louisiana at Monroe's mock trial team will host the first annual "Warhawk Mock Trial Jamboree," beginning at 12:30 p.m., on Sunday, Feb.16., in Stubbs Hall Room 230. The ULM mock trial team will welcome teams from Millsaps College and Mississippi College for the competition.

ULM to remain closed Wednesday, Feb. 12

Due to the continued inclement weather, The University of Louisiana at Monroe will be closed all day, Wednesday, Feb. 12. The ULM Library and Activity Center will close today at 6 p.m. Normal university operations and classes will resume on Thursday, Feb, 13.

Emily Williamson, director of the University of Louisiana at Monroe Child Development Center, was recently appointed to serve on the Praxis Education of Young Children assessment study committee, being conducted by Educational Testing Service (ETS). ETS is the organization that creates the SAT, GRE, Praxis, TOFEL and other exams.

Collaborative Higher Education and Workforce Summit at ULM Feb. 13

Northern and Central Louisiana Interfaith (NCLI)-- in conjunction with University of Louisiana at Monroe, Grambling State University, Louisiana Delta Community College, and Louisiana Tech University--will host the Higher Education and Workforce Summit in ULM's Student Union Building Ballroom, located on the second floor of the Student Union Building, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 13. The event is free and open to the public.
