A welcoming crowd gathered in the Anna Gray Noe Alumni Center on the University of Louisiana at Monroe campus to welcome the university's largest ever Korean cohort. The 45 students--who hail from Hanbat University, Geumgang University, and Chungbook University in Korea--will take part in an intensive seven-week English language and internship program.

LSBDC at ULM hosts workshop to help aspiring entrepreneurs Jan. 16

The Louisiana Small Business Development Center (LSBDC) at University of Louisiana at Monroe, will hold its first workshop of the new year. "Starting and Financing a Business" will be held from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 16, in Room 133 in Hemphill Hall on the ULM campus. There is no cost to attend.

Two programs at the University of Louisiana at Monroe are nationally ranked in the 2014 edition of U.S. News & World Report's "Best Online Programs." ULM's online graduate business degree (MBA) and online graduate education degree (M.Ed.) were ranked number 87 and number 103, respectively.

University of Louisiana at Monroe President Dr. Nick J. Bruno has announced the President's List and Dean's List for the Fall 2013 semester at ULM. To be eligible for the President's List, a student is required to earn at least a 3.9 grade point average on a minimum of 12 semester hours completed.
