1.  Site

COHS has the Special Events site reserved.  Will investigate putting each department’s “Browse” Display Boards in the Mobile Health Unit for Homecoming. Spoke with Judy. We don’t think that there will be room for this.

Need to find out who will be responsible for driving the RV to the spot and returning it after Tailgating?

2. Food/Drinks

Debbie Joyner took care of food: We have someone who will bring a grill and do the cooking and supply the meat and have all the cooking supplies necessary.  He will be by himself, because most of our people will be showing cows that weekend.  His name is Robert Cobb, his wife Diane Cobb use to work in the speech and hearing clinic.  He said he would do it, He’ll call me to iron out the details.

Steve (Kim Whorton’s husband) can help cook. Any other volunteers are welcome

Plan for food for 100 people.

Each department will be responsible for bringing items (either through student participation or student organization groups).

1-      Drinks (canned drinks and bottled water), ice chests, ice – recommend that Nursing department group brings these due to large student population

2-      Paper-goods: bowls, spoons, napkins, and ULM gold tablecloths – Rad. Tech. Dept

3-      Buns – OT Dept

4-      Chips and dip– CLS Dept

5-      Cookies/Brownies – SLP

6-      Mums for tent – HS

7-      Mayo, mustard, ketchup – DH

ALL items need to be delivered by 10:30 for set-up

3.  Tent

The 20 x 30 tent was decided ordered and will be delivered around 9:00am on Friday and they will pick it up Monday morning.

I will be there to assist the rental company setting-up on Friday, Oct. 2nd. If anyone else wants to come for input, I will welcome you.

4.  Tables and chairs

I spoke with Helen Johnson in Physical Plant about setting up tables (3). They do not have any chairs available. Tammy Soileau thinks that she can get ~30 chairs from her church and possibly a couple of tables

5.  Banner

Will ask Dr. Oliver about the COHS banner.  Each Department can hang their department banners around the tent. Also the student organizations can bring their letters and put them up.
