ESLG 104
ESLG 104 is a 3
credit-hour advanced course in reading and vocabulary for non-native speakers
of English.
COURSE OBJECTIVES: To improve students’ mastery of English
vocabulary, idiom, and reading comprehension, and to advance international
students’ understanding of the principal rhetorical modes of composition which
are utilized in American academic writing.

ATTENDANCE: Students are expected to attend classes
regularly and to be on time. Unexcused absences will result in a grade of zero
