Applying to ULM for graduate study requires that you communicate with both the Systemic Studies (SS) Program and the Graduate School directly. The application deadline is February 1st with Fall admission only. The online doctoral program is intended for students who can commit to full-time enrollment. We do not accept students wishing to do part-time enrollment. IMPORTANT NOTE: For Mac users, please open all fillable forms using free Adobe Reader.
Request official university transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate work (one copy from each school attended) to be sent directly to the Graduate School. This can be sent electronically to firstname.lastname@example.org or mailed to the Graduate School address listed below.
Take and/or request official GRE scores to be sent directly to the Graduate School.
Complete the Graduate School application online.
Online. Complete the ULM graduate application online at domestic online application or international online application. Pay the non-refundable $20 application fee ($30 for international students) by credit card when you submit your form. ULM accepts Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover.
Assemble a portfolio consisting of a SS program application, curriculum vitæ, a sample of your scholarly writing, program goal statement, and three letters of recommendation, all of which, must be submitted electronically to email@example.com by February 1. These items cannot be submitted via hard copy and incomplete portfolios will not be considered. If you are re-applying to the program, you must submit a new portfolio.

Once the February deadline has passed, the Admissions Committee will begin reviewing your portfolios. In four to six weeks you will receive a notification from the Systemic Studies Program indicating whether or not you have been selected to join the program. This notification will be sent electronically to the email address you included on your application.
