Christine BolesMs. Christine Reitzell-Boles has been accompanying, performing, maintaining a private piano studio, and substitute teaching music in her community for over twenty years.  She trained under Ms. Persis Crawford, Dr. Hamilton Monroe, and Mrs. Jane Bird Joseph in her pre-university years. She attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe (then NLU), under the instruction of Dr. Donald Cornell, before transferring to LSU to finish her Bachelor’s Degree of Music in Piano Pedagogy under Dr. Jack Guerry. While attending LSU, she had the honor of accompanying the Wind Ensemble at the Kennedy Center. Afterwards, she completed her Master’s Degree of Music from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in Instrumental Music-Conducting, and then pursued and completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from ULM.

Ms. Reitzell-Boles has played piano for various churches for over 20 years in Baton Rouge and in the surrounding Monroe/West Monroe area. She has also accompanied and guest conducted numerous ensembles and bands throughout the parish. She has been active in several professional organizations including: Louisiana Music Teacher’s Association, the National Band Association, The Musical Coterie, Phi Kappa Phi and others.  Ms. Reitzell-Boles currently substitutes for various schools and churches in the area and maintains her private piano studio.
