During the four-day convention hosted by the National Opera Association, Clark introduced his new book with assistance from award-winning Broadway composer of “A Catered Affair,” John Bucchino.

Clark’s book, “The Broadway Song: Finding the Truths,” will be published this year by Oxford University Press—the largest academic publisher in the world.

In his publication, Clark analyzes 100 great Broadway songs, and each song entry features an interview piece with the song’s composer or lyricist, original director, or performer.

Clark has taught at ULM for over six years.

He received his doctorate degree in opera production from the University of Washington, and received performance degrees in vocal performance and pedagogy from Indiana University.
