ULM presents Broadway songs and scenes April 30

The School of Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, presents Broadway Songs and Scenes at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, April 30, in Emy-Lou Biedenharn Recital Hall.

The event is free and open to the public.

Songs and scenes from traditional and current shows will be presented from: "A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder;" "Guys and Dolls;" "A Secret Garden;" "Catch Me if You Can;" "Drood;" "Fiddler on the Roof;" "The Civil War;" "The Glorious Ones;" "Little Women;"and "Big River."

Student-performers include Sierra Ethridge, McKenna Giovingo, Nathanael Medlin, Ben McQuillin, Taylor Witherspoon, Sydney Davis, and Grace Busby.

Also featured in the performance is the Interdenominational Ensemble (IDE), conducted by Natorshau Davis.

The pianist is Dr. Richard Seiler, and the director is Dr. Mark R. Clark
