The Mathematics Department at the University of Louisiana at Monroe will host the
second Annual High School Mathematics Competition on Wednesday, Dec. 9, from 8 a.m.
– 2 p.m.

9:00–9:15 Welcome
9:15–10:00 Math Activity
10:00–11:00 Math Competition
11:00–12:00 Lunch
12:00–1:30 Campus Tour and Math Activity
1:30–2:00 Awards Presentation
Come join us for a day of friendly math competition, lunch, and a campus tour. Participation
in the competition is open to all Louisiana high school students (grades 9-12).
The competition will be held in the SUB Ballroom (middle of campus across from library).
No calculator will be permitted during the competition. Lunch will be provided to participants. Awards (first, second, and third places) will be announced at the end of the event.
Participation is free but registration for the event is required. Registration can
be completed online here.
