President And Mrs Cofer To Serve As Honorary Chairpersons In The 2002 Memory Walk

The 2002 Memory Walk will be held on Saturday, Oct. 5th at 9:00 a.m. at The University of Louisiana at Monroe Activity Center. ULM President James Cofer and his wife Deborah will serve as Honorary Chairpersons in this annual fundraiser for the Northeast Central Louisiana Alzheimer's Association. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m.

ULM Gerontology graduate and undergraduate students are volunteers for the Memory Walk. They are helping with registration, set up, clean up and other activities.

Pre-registration will be held on October 3rd and 4th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Rosemont Assisted Living, Alzheimer's Community of West Monroe, and at Christus St. Joseph Assisted Living Center.
