ULM Remembers 911

The ULM Student Government Association plans to remember 911 with a few events throughout the day Friday, September 10. Below is the schedule.

8:30 AM ULM President, faculty, staff, and student body assemble in the Administration Commons area at the flagpole.

8:40 AM Flag is lowered to half-mast. SGA representatives lay wreath at flag.

8:46 AM Moment of silence in observance of the time when the first tower was struck.

* Immediately following the placing of the wreath, the assembly shall disperse.

10:29 AM Bells toll from the University Bell Tower in a 5-5-5-5 pattern, which signals the death of a firefighter. A moment of silence should be observed during bell tolling in observance of the time when the second tower collapsed.

12 noon Commemorative Ceremony Scott Plaza and Fountain area featuring a ULM graduate student who is also a former F-16 Pilot.
