Sculpture Garden to Receive New Addition from Visiting Artist

Michael Warrick, a visiting artist to campus, will lend his artistry to the outdoor ULM Sculpture Garden on Monday, March 6.

This will be the first installation of the year. The actual set up time is pending, but Warrick will give a lecture at 3 p.m. on March 6 in Bry Hall, Room 210.

Warrick is a professor of sculpture at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He has a respected national exhibition record that encompasses more than two decades and the acceptance of many awards.

His career has yielded over 100 group exhibits and at least 39 one-man shows. Warrick’s outdoor works have been placed in 14 states, and he has served as a Visiting Artist or Artist in Residence for at least 80 different establishments.

The Sculpture Garden is located in front of Spyker Theatre behind Biedenharn Hall. It continues to be a rotating display and sale opportunity for alumni, local artists and other respected artists given the invitation.
