Bry Art Gallery features exhibition in sculpture by local artist

The Bry Art Gallery in the Division of Art at ULM is currently showing a one-person Senior Exhibition in Sculpture by Brooke Foy of Monroe. Foy's show is the first of six exhibitions featuring the work of 12 artists.

The signature statement of this installation is partial torso figurative freestanding series pieces in ceramic and mixed media form, ranging in size from one inch to eight feet tall. In support of this statement, the artist is also displaying freestanding figurative sculpture in ceramic and bronze, non-objective welded steel forms and whimsical steel and wood "wheeled toys," as well as still life oil pastel drawings and non-objective color monotype prints.

This exhibition will be on view through May 26. The gallery is open from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. on weekdays. Following the Bry showing, the exhibition will move to Bastrop for an exhibit at the Snyder Museum.
