ULM Game Day shirt sale to benefit First Year Experience

The University of Louisiana at Monroe Game Day shirts for football season are now on sale in the Office of Recruitment and Admissions.

Each shirt sells for $10; proceeds will fund the new First Year Experience program for ULM freshman.

The First Year Experience program guides freshman through their first year of college. FYE begins with PREP, followed by FRYS classes, Convocation, the Summer Reading Program, Learning Communities and more.

"We had seen similar programs at other universities and wanted to start our own program for ULM students," said Mary Sewell, FYE coordinator. "We hope this program will provide them with a wonderful freshman experience and will serve as a retention tool for the university."

Shirts will be on sale in the Office of Recruitment and Admissions, at the ULM Pep Rally on Aug. 28, and in the Grove on Aug. 30 at the FYE tent located in the Student Section.
