Celebration of the sciences and humanities to be held during new event March 27

The College of Arts and Sciences will host a celebration of the sciences and humanities Tuesday, March 27 from 6 – 7:30 p.m. in the Student Union Ballroom.

High school teachers and their interested students have been invited to a new event where they can meet ULM faculty and students in the sciences and humanities and also see related displays dedicated to the discovery of new ideas.

The students will then have dinner and participate in interactive games focused on science and humanities.

“We want to share the excitement that literature, scientific inquiry, language, and culture can inspire,” said Ruth Smith, associate dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. “Our intent is to have a fun evening learning about the subjects that we all enjoy.”
