Tommy Emmanuel rocks Brown Auditorium in sold-out concert

Pouring rain could not deter more than 750 fans from packing Brown Auditorium Monday night to watch Tommy Emmanuel work his guitar magic.

The VAPA concert opened with singer/songwriter Pam Rose and featured two-time Grammy nominee Emmanuel, who performed for about three hours.

Christi Bailey, ULM director of graphic and campus mail services, said the concert was "great." "It was so unusual and different. He made that guitar produce sounds I didn't know a guitar could make, and I've been listening to guitarists play for years."
