ULM announces winners of Ace's Adventures Coloring Contest

The University of Louisiana at Monroe proudly announces the winners of its Ace's Adventures Coloring Contest, sponsored by The News-Star, Brookshire's Food Stores and Lamar Advertising.

ULM President James Cofer expressed his appreciation for the community sponsors.

"When the university approached our community partners for help in promoting the Ace's Adventures coloring contest for children, The News-Star, Lamar Advertising, and Brookshire's immediately stepped forward. Their support of this contest, which promotes the Ace's Adventures initiative, is incredible, and all of us at ULM sincerely appreciate their efforts. More than 17,000 children and several hundred teachers from 15 parishes are benefiting from this innovative resource."

The coloring contest entries were judged by ULM students in Curriculum and Instruction Professor Ava Pugh's class. Entries were divided into four groups, according to grocery store locations.
