English Department celebrates Shakespeare's 444th birthday April 22

On Tuesday, April 22, ULM's English Department will host a celebration of William Shakespeare's 444th birthday (a day early) with a performance of "The Conjunction of Comedia and Errata" performed by CA-STudio, a young troupe directed by ULM alum Cathy Airhart Webb.

The birthday celebration will take place from 2-3:20 p.m. in the Airway Sciences Auditorium, Room 134. The community is encouraged to attend and enjoy birthday cake and sing "Happy Birthday" to Shakespeare after the performance.

An adaptation of Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors, the play combines classical Shakespeare with Star Wars and features young people from 8 to 18.
