ULM Librarian to serve on SELA

Melinda F. Matthews, Interlibrary Loan/Reference Librarian, is serving on the Arkansas Library Association/Southeastern Library Association 2010 Conference Subcommittee Special Section and the SELA Outstanding Author Committee.

Matthews also recently wrote a book review of Kentucky's Best: Fifty Years of Great Recipes by Linda Allison-Lewis published in the journal Southeastern Librarian vol. 57 no. 3 Fall 2009 pp. 41-42.

She earned her master's degree in Library and Information Science from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in May 1990, and a bachelor's degree in English in December 1988 from McNeese State University in Lake Charles.

She has worked at the ULM Library since July 1990.
