LSBDC to offer Starting and Financing a Small Business seminar June 18

The Louisiana Small Business Development Center at the University of Louisiana at Monroe will offer a "Starting and Financing a Small Business" seminar Thursday, June 18, from 6-8 p.m. in the ULM Administration Building, Room 2-105. There is a $10 per person/couplecharge to attend.

This two-hour workshop is recommended for individuals who are interested in determining the feasibility of their idea, are planning to start or have recently started a small business, want to expand their business, are interested in obtaining a small business loan, or want to learn more about planning and management.
Topics of discussion include business feasibility, business planning, business description, marketing strategy development, financial planning, loan process/applications, and sources of funds for small business start-up and expansion.

The LSBDC at ULM offers free and confidential one-on-one counseling services to potential and existing business owners, free management and technical assistance services by appointment, and low-cost workshops and seminars to help small business people become better managers and to keep them informed about current events and changing trends in today's business world.

The LSBDC is a nationally accredited small business assistance provider with nine centers located throughout Louisiana.
