ULM RADT graduates earn 100 percent first-time pass rate on national exam

The University of Louisiana at Monroe Department of Radiologic Technology announced a 100 percent first-time pass rate on the national exam by its recent graduates.

Students who complete a radiologic technology program take a national exam administered by the American Registry of Registered Technologists.

In the past five years, the ULM graduates have performed at an average of 97 percent first-time pass rate with a 100 percent overall pass rate.

Program Director Brett Bennett, said, "This is a result of the hard work put in by the faculty and the students to ensure that they are prepared for the registry and for the field of medical imaging."

This year was the first time since 2006 that the program had a 100 percent first-time pass rate.
