ULM Chamber Singers to perform in observance of Veterans Day Nov. 11

In observance of Veterans Day, the University of Louisiana at Monroe Chamber Singers will perform “Lux Aeterna” (Light Eternal) by Morton Lauridsen, at 6 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 11, at Grace Episcopal Church in Monroe.

The performance is free and open to the public.

Dr. Deborah Chandler, associate professor of music will conduct the performance, and Dr. Richard Seiler, professor of music, will accompany on organ.

Veterans, family, and friends are invited to join the Chamber Singers, and add their name to the book of remembrance in the narthex of the church.

During the program, the names will be read by the Rev. David Roberts, co-pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Monroe. A moment of silence will follow.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, a reception will be held in Grace Episcopal’s Kilborune Hall.
