ULM College of Education and Human Development to hold Fall Gala Oct. 18

The College of Education and Human Development at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, is excited to host their second annual Fall Gala fund raising event at 5:30 p.m., on Thursday, Oct. 18.

Tickets are available for $40 per adult 21 and older. Proceeds support the college’s initiatives, and faculty enhancement.

The gala is poised to unite community leaders and college supporters together for a special night of sophistication and fun.

Held at the home of John and Dorothy Schween, guests will enjoy wine and dishes from various local restaurants including smoked beef and carved-to-serve turkey courtesy of the local meat masters at Magic Grill.

Dorothy serves as the head of Curriculum and Instruction at ULM.

“The Fall Gala was so much fun last year; it was hard to leave at the end of the evening,” said Dr. Sandra Lemoine, dean of the College of Education and Human Development at ULM.

“I am looking forward to the second annual Fall Gala, and reuniting with our college’s family, friends, alumni and community supporters.”
