Update 3 - Summer 2017 Apartments Carpet Replacement

05/28/17

The crew will be starting in Building 5 to remove and replace carpet on Wednesday, May 31. They will start on the first (1st) floor at the earliest on Wednesday. This building should complete within one week (by June 7).

When your unit is next, you will need to do the following things:

  1. Pack a bag and bedding for no more than 3 days/2 nights. We will house you in another open residence hall until the work is completed in your unit. If you would like to make other arrangements for this duration of time, you are welcome to do so.
  2. Box up your belongings and move them to the bathroom’s TILED surface or in your room’s closet while still being able to shut the doors. (Closet carpet will be replaced at a later date.)
  3. Do not leave valuables in drawers (clothes and desk items are okay to be left) as crews will be removing the desk, desk chairs, and drawers. This furniture will be placed in the vanity areas.
  4. Wall decorations may be left on the walls as long as they are above 5 feet from the floor.

The crews are still working in Building 6 & 7. There is still construction clean up and individual unit/bedroom projects (painting, cleaning, appliance work) to be done.

Please be aware of the crews and their location as your unit will be coming up soon. We will keep in contact with you, via email and our main website, about their progress so that you may prepare your things.
