Nutritious $5.00 Meals
Did you know that ULM faculty and staff can purchase 20 meals at Schultze Cafeteria for $100? Since the credit is on your ULM ID, there's no reason to carry cash. For details, go to the SUB and ask for "Alvin" or "Eddie". Request the "20 meals for $100, faculty/staff plan". The Aramark number is 342-3420 or 342-1979.
Sudoku     http://www.dkmsoftware.com/sudoku/sudoku.swf
If you don't know what "Sudoku" is, or if you haven't tried it, you are missing out on an opportunity to relax, play, reduce stress, and exercise your brain... all at the same time! The Japanese consider this intriguing puzzle game (which was invented in the USA) as a wonderful "brain resource". Even though Sudoku is a "game", consider the related benefits.

Editing Instructions: How To Edit This Page
Template source: http://ulm.edu/tlrc/template/index.html
When you are finished editing this webpage template, do this:
  • Delete this yellow highlighted table of instructions. (Right-click => Table Select => Table => Delete)
  • Delete the navigation link called Editing Directions: How To Edit This Page  located in the navigation links at the very top of this page.
Q1. What is my faculty/staff website address?
Your faculty or staff website address is: http://ulm.edu/~your_ULM_email_login/index.html
When you use this template, this address works just as well: http://ulm.edu/~your_ULM_email_login/
These addresses are equivalent:http://www.ulm.edu/~beutner/  <=>  http://ulm.edu/~beutner/
Technical Note: Sometimes, you will see that the ~ symbol in your website address is replaced by %7E  As an example, that means that http://ulm.edu/~beutner/ and http://ulm.edu/%7Ebeutner/  are equivalent, even though they look very different.

Q2. What is my "FTP setting" for copying files to my faculty or staff website?
The faculty or staff "FTP setting" is:spock.ulm.edu

Q3. Do all ULM students have a personal website, too?
A. Yes, all ULM students have a personal website, too. The functionality of a student website is identical to that of a faculty or staff website. For ULM students, the "FTP setting" is:  tribe.ulm.edu   Students use this website address:   http://tribe.ulm.edu/~student_ULM_email_login/

Q4. What are the steps to editing my website? I could use a handout!
A. Please check this handout for creating/editing your faculty or staff website. Just open the Powerpoint slide and print it.

Q5. Can I put files on my website?
A. Of course! The best place to put your files is in the "bin" folder. When you copy the link to your online file, you can insert that link into an email, a document, a presentation, a spreadsheet, or any file that allows active links.

Q6.  So, I can keep my online course files on my website and just provide the links in my Moodle courses?
A. That's right. In fact, this is much more manageable. If you update a file on your website, using the same file name, all of the links to the revised file will, of course, be updated.

Q7. Will there be TLRC workshops for editing faculty websites every semester? A refresher would be nice!
A. Yes. You can check for upcoming workshops on the TLRC website. You will have an opportunity to modify your website at least once every semester during a TLRC workshop. And, if a group of your colleagues are interested, the TLRC will arrange a special TLRC workshop.

Q8. I'd like to see an "overview" of my website. Is there a visual representation?
A. Yes, here is a visual overview. There is one main folder with two sub-folders. Please examine this image:

Your website: A visual representation
