2016 Panelist: Kelsea McCrary

Kelsea McCrary is dedicated to promoting the transformative power of the arts and her faith. She believes living a full life, one that includes service to others, can meaningfully impact the social and economic climate in a community.

McCrary, a graduate of the University of Louisiana Monroe with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of Visual and Performing Arts, is currently working in social media management and recruitment marketing for CenturyLink.

Prior to joining the Fortune 200 company, she served as Director of Marketing and as an out-of-state recruiter for ULM, transitioning to a branding and communications leadership role for Pine Valley Foods, based in Dallas.

She is a leader in the movement to revitalize Monroe/West Monroe and bring the community together.

She is president of the Downtown Arts Alliance, Vice President of the Monroe Renaissance, and actively serves the Twin City Art Foundation, the Creative Placemaking Committee, and the Quality of Life Committee for the Ouachita Business Alliance as well as the Music Ministry at North Monroe Baptist Church, Contemporary Worship Team.

Classically trained, Kelsea actively teaches and coaches at area dance studios and high schools. Committed to promoting both the visual and performing arts, her involvement centers on creating access to the arts for all.

She was nominated for the 2015 round of Top 20 Under 40 Young Professionals in Northeast Louisiana, and is also nominated for Volunteer of the Year for the 2016 Northeast Louisiana Arts Council ArtWorks Awards. A recent host of the ULM TedX series, she also is a frequent speaker for Louisiana Tech's College of Business Career Prep classes and symposiums.
