GarNet On-line Activities

Every semester GarNet meets once a week for regular work sessions.  During these 2 hour work sessions, there are periods of quiet in which we work together on our own various student on-line projects and assignments.  Some of us are grading, some consulting with each other on problems, and some working out new methods with the assistant’s aid.

However, we also take-up group learning projects.  In the Spring 2006 semester, for instance, we designed and posted web-page syllabi for our Fall 2006 semester classes and learned how to make Camtasia recordings.

Most recently, with the support of a BORSF SELECT grant, GarNet members have produced a series of on-line lessons and multi-media lectures and web resources [See Innovator link below].
