ULM to Sponsor Leadership Conference

The Executive Vice President and Vice President of TDIndustries, the second best company in the country to work for according to Fortune magazine, will be the featured speakers for a Leadership Banquet on the University of Louisiana at Monroe campus Tuesday, Nov. 30.

Bob Ferguson, Executive VP and Mark Rutledge, VP, will be the keynote speakers at the event which is co-sponsored by the ULM Honors Seminar 410H, the CIS Student Relations Committee and the ULM College of Business Administration.

TDIndustries, a plumbing and air-conditioning contractor, had $135 million in revenues in 1997 according to Fortune. The company's top 30 managers and the founder's widow own 25 percent of the stock in the company and the lower-level employees own the rest.

Tickets for the banquet, which includes a buffet dinner, are $15 and may be purchased at the Administration Building room 3-37 or room 3-40. For more information, contact Betty Cooper at 342-1141.

Tickets should be purchased by Wednesday, Nov. 24. The banquet will be held in the ULM Conference Center on the seventh floor of University Library.
