ULM professor receives Counselor of the Year Award

Dr. Charles Pryor, Associate Professor of Instructional Leadership and Counseling and President-elect of the faculty Senate at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, has been named the Post Secondary Counselor of the Year by the Louisiana School Counselor Association.

Dr. Pryor joined the faculty of the College of Education and Human development at ULM in 1985.

"We are proud of Dr. Pryor who is most deserving of this significant honor. He is a dedicated, talented, professor acutely devoted to his students, his colleagues, and the University community. Charles exemplifies the quality of professors at ULM, who quietly do their best with our students and enhance the excellence of our programs", said Dale Johnson, Dean of the College of Education and Human Development.
Dr. Pryor is now a contender for the national award from the American School Counselor Association.
