ULM Holds "Day Of Rememberance" In Tribute To September 11, 2001

The University of Louisiana at Monroe will hold a "Day of Remembrance" in tribute to the victims and heroes of September 11, 2001. The event will be in Fant-Ewing Coliseum at noon on Wednesday, September 11, 2002 and will last approximately 45 minutes.

The public is invited to attend as well as all ULM faculty, staff, and students. City officials from West Monroe and Monroe, legislators, law enforcement, fire, and rescue workers will be in attendance as will other first-responder agencies from our community. The American Legion of Monroe will be on hand to display their vast collection of American flags. There will be a short program including performances by the University Choir and a few brief remarks by the President of ULM and others.
