The 2002 ULM Homecoming queen and court

Natalie Williams of Monroe was selected as University of Louisiana at Monroe 2002 Homecoming Queen. Homecoming was held at ULM on Oct. 26th, 2002. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew H. Williams III, and is an Early Childhood Elementary Education senior from Monroe. Natalie was nominated by the Student Government Association.

Members of the Homecoming court follow: Stephanie Garcia, the daughter of Joyce Hornor, is a Pre-Nursing Freshman from Monroe. Baptist Collegiate Ministries nominated Stephanie.

Mekisha Smith, the daughter of Mrs. Eugenia Smith and the late Julius C. Smith, is a Criminal Justice Freshman from Shreveport. Campus Activities Board nominated Mekisha.

Chelsa Jackson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Jackson and is a Pre-Pharmacy Sophomore from Shreveport. Chelsa was nominated by the Campus Activities Board.

Erin Townsend is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Townsend and is an Accounting Sophomore from Kilbourne. Phi Mu Fraternity nominated Erin.

Amy Cummins, the daughter of Mr. Douglas Cummins and the late Mrs. Phyllis Cummins, is a Mass Communication Junior from Winnsboro. The Chacahoula nominated Amy.

LaTosha Jackson is the daughter of Mr. Rance and Mrs. Florence Jackson and is a Biology/Pre-Med Junior from Shreveport. LaTosha was nominated by Interdenominational Ensemble.

Kristal Gentry, the daughter of Mr. Wayne and Mrs. Teresa Gentry and is a Marketing Senior from Monroe. Kristal was nominated by Phi Mu.

Leslie Harrington, the daughter of Mr. Kevin and Mrs. Cathy Harrington, is a Speech Communications Senior from Mandeville. Baptist Collegiate Ministries nominated Leslie.

Homecoming King, Josh Pigott, the son of David and Melanie Pigott, is a Mass Communications Senior from Shreveport. 31 Ambassadors nominated Josh.

This year the University of Louisiana at Monroe's homecoming court was selected for the first time through on-line voting. Students were able to vote from any computer by accessing the ULM web site. The Homecoming Queen was announced during the homecoming football game.
