ULM Insurance Program Hosts Golf Classic

The University of Louisiana at Monroe Insurance Program announces its ULM Golf Classic to be held March 27 at 12 noon at Chennault Golf Course in Monroe. Space is limited to the first 22 teams of four players.

The cost is $75 per player. Cost includes refreshments, goodie bag, lunch snacks, green and cart fees and awards presentation. The cost also includes One Million Dollar Hole-In-One, Closest to the Pin Contest, and the Longest Drive Competition. An extra activities package can also be purchased for $20 which includes the Putting Contest and Mulligan. There are also numerous door prizes and giveaways planned for the day.

Registration begins at noon with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. Awards will be given for first, second, and third place teams in two divisions. Weather permitting, a social and awards banquet will be held following the tournament.

There are several levels of sponsorship available including Title Sponsor, Corporate Sponsor, and Hole Sponsor.

Title sponsorship ($2500 fee): The sponsoring company will be featured in all tournament publicity including the brochure, golf cap and banner. A plaque of appreciation will be given at an awards ceremony. In addition, the title sponsor will also receive a free four-person team.

Corporate sponsorship ($300 fee): The sponsoring company will receive its name on the event brochure and banner. A plaque of appreciation will also be presented at an award ceremony. Corporate sponsors will also receive hole sponsorship.

Hole sponsorship ($150 fee): Hole sponsors will have a sign posted at a designated hole.

Funds from this event will be used for the benefit of students in the ULM Insurance Program.
