ULM to Hold Louisiana Universities Fair

In conjunction with the Louisiana Board of Regents, the University of Louisiana at Monroe will hold the Louisiana Universities Fair (also known as Freshmen Fair), a special program for high school freshmen and sophomores. It will be Thurs., May 8 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Anna Gray Noe Alumni Center on the ULM campus. This program is designed to help young students prepare for college, especially the upcoming changes in admission requirements to public institutions in Louisiana. Area high school students and their parents have been invited. This is a first time event for ULM.

ULM President James E. Cofer, Sr. will be there to welcome everyone. Theresa Hay, Assistant Commissioner for Planning and Research from the Louisiana Board of Regents, will be there to discuss the Master Plan for admissions. Ricky Boyette, Louisiana Office of Student Financial Aid, will discuss financing your student's education and Lisa Miller, ULM's Director of Recruitment/Admissions, will talk about ULM's recent admission changes.

Information tables from several Louisiana universities will be set up during the browse session. ULM financial aid will also be on hand.
