Campus Lights Up With "Christmas at ULM"

ULM will ring in the holiday season with the second annual "Christmas at ULM," sponsored by the Student Government Association. The event will take place outside between the Student Union Building and the ULM Library on Tuesday, December 2 at 5:30 p.m. Scheduled for the evening is carol singing by ULM's Chamber Singers, music by the ULM Pep Band, holiday refreshments, and the lighting of the tree. ULM's Christmas tree is 17 ft. tall and was donated by Dr. Warren Green. ULM's ROTC cadets will lead a concluding candle lighting ceremony.

Lights will also be twinkling on the ULM Bell tower and the bayou bridge. Participants will also have a chance to hear a Christmas music program led by Louis Nabors, Andy Goodman, Johnny Ray Jones and Coralie White. Visitors can view over 40 holiday greetings on oversized cards (4' x 8 plywood boards) designed by ULM student Organizations. Everyone from ULM and the community is welcome to attend.
