ULM Family and Consumer Sciences Co-host Professional Development Fair

The University of Louisiana at Monroe Department of Family and Consumer Sciences, the Junior League of Monroe Project Child Committee, and the Louisiana Early Childhood Association District II, and are sponsoring a professional development fair and series of workshops on Saturday, February 28 in Filhiol Hall on the ULM campus.

Professionals in the early childhood field are welcome to the fair to get information about opportunities for beginning or continuing education in northeast Louisiana. There will be information about the Child Development Association (CDA) along with training workshops.

Topics include:

 

· Pathways (available scholarships)

 

· Stirring Up Art Recipes and Snacks

 

· Parent Communication

 

· Let's Make and Take Math and Literacy

 

· Infant Toddler Environments

 

· Preschool Environments
