Pi Kappa Alpha to Hold 12th Annual "Pike Jam"

The Eta Omicron chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity at ULM will hold their 12th annual concert fundraiser, Pike Jam, on Saturday, May 8, starting at 7 p.m. in the Paradox (the old Eastgate cinema). This year's event will feature performances by local bands Fall Staff, Truck-Stop Gravy, Sioux St. Marie and LC Smooth, as well as James Reneau & Tim Hayden.

General admission is $6, all-access passes are $10, and VIP passes are $15. All proceeds will benefit Prevent Child Abuse Louisiana (www.pcal.org), a private non-profit organization dedicated to preventing the abuse and neglect of Louisiana's children. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the first performance starts at 7 p.m. For more information, call Jordan at 547-8772.

The award-winning Eta Omicron chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity was founded at ULM in 1972. Pike donates over 5,000 hours of community service every year and was named ULM's Organization of the Year in 2002. The Eta Omicron chapter is ranked in the top 3% of Pike chapters nationwide.
