The School of Visual and Performing Arts Presents Music Events

The University of Louisiana at Monroe’s School of Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) will have plenty to offer the cultural enthusiast this semester, beginning with two musical events.

Music lovers may listen to Thaddeus Brys, cello, and Susan Brys, piano, on Wed., Jan. 18 at 7:30 p.m. There is no charge to attend this performance, which will occur at Biedenharn Recital Hall.

On Tues., Jan. 31, Deborah McCLung-Guillory, pianist, and Verena Riley, cellist, will present a recital as part of the VAPA Concert Series. The recital will include a wide range of musical styles - from Chopin to Ragtime. The event will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Biedenharn Recital Hall.

Tickets are $7 for the general public. ULM students, faculty and staff will attend free of charge with I.D.

Many other activities will follow throughout the semester.
