Bray presents concert Oct. 23

As part of the ULM Guest Artists on Campus series, Buddy Bray, a ULM Division of Music alum, will present a piano concert on Oct. 23 in Biedenharn Recital Hall.

Bray grew up in northeastern Louisiana, and studied piano at ULM with Donald Cornell. He has been principal keyboardist with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra since 1986, and has hosted the orchestra’s pre-concert discussion series since 1993. He has appeared as a soloist with the Dallas and Jacksonville symphony orchestras, the Buffalo Philharmonic, the Kennedy Center Opera Orchestra, and in Miguel Harth-Bedoya’s “the Passion of Tango,” with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl.

ULM faculty, students and staff are admitted free with I.D. Tickets are $10 for the general public. VAPA is sponsoring the event.
