Run-off for SGA and Mardi Gras online elections set for Feb. 7

There will be a run-off online election for several University of Louisiana at Monroe’s Mardi Gras court and SGA positions Wednesday, Feb. 7 from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Run-off election results will be announced in the Student Center executive meeting room, 170, at 7 p.m.

A run-off will commence between Cassie Olin and LaToya Clark for the 2007 Mardi Gras Queen title.

Voters must choose between two College of Business Administration nominees for 2007 Mardi Gras Court Beau: Andrew Smith and Joseph Beard.

Finally, for the 2007 SGA elections, there will be a run-off for the CBA senator position between candidates Andrew Smith and Kimberly Boudreaux.

The Mardi Gras court will interact with faculty and staff at ULM’s Mardi Gras Ball in the SUB Thursday, Feb. 15, beginning with a jazz ensemble and light buffet at 7:30 p.m. The coronation ceremony will begin about 9 p.m. President and Mrs. Cofer will perform the honors.
