ULM Violence Prevention & Intervention Program to host forum Dec. 3

Co-directors of the ULM Violence Prevention and Intervention Program, Dr. Pamela Saulsberry and Dr. Robert Hanser, will host the 2009 Annual Domestic Violence Forum Thursday, Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. in the Student Union Building, Ballroom A.

During the holiday season, incidents of domestic violence often increase in many jurisdictions. While this phenomenon affects both the local community and the nation as a whole, it affects many college and university students, staff and faculty as well. With this in mind, the 2009 Annual Domestic Violence Forum seeks to provide awareness and prevention information for interested persons as the holiday season approaches.

All students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to attend this event. Discussion and dialogue regarding issues that pertain to this social ill will be provided. Input from the ULM community is welcomed.
