ULM students selected to Who's Who

Forty-eight University of Louisiana at Monroe students are listed in the 2011 edition of Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. These seniors are recognized for being national outstanding campus leaders.

Campus nominating committees and editors of the annual directory included the students based on academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success. They were selected from more than 2,300 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and several foreign countries.

Outstanding students have been honored in the annual directory since it was first published in 1934.

Gegenheimer, risk management insurance major from Covington; Taylor K. Hill, marketing major from Monroe; Ashley M. Kirby, accounting major from Harrisonburg; Brandon Rasberry, marketing major from Shreveport; Brook Sebren, entrepreneurship major from Monroe; Karun Shrestha, accounting major from Monroe; and Sarah E. Slater, accounting major from Monroe.

Students selected from the College of Education and Human Development, their majors and hometowns include: Kerri E. Brown, kinesiology major from Dry Prong; Tara A. Creech, kinesiology major from West Monroe; Adam Alexander Elam, kinesiology major from Monroe; Michael T. Hatchett, kinesiology major from Monroe; Sherise R. Hickman, kinesiology major from Monroe; Kramer G. McDaniel, psychology major from Monroe; and T.J. Scarborough, kinesiology major from Rayville.

Students selected from the College of Health Sciences, their majors and hometowns include: Courtney Lynne Allen, radiologic technology major from Monroe; Toni E. Beavers, speech language pathology major from Monroe; Beau Michael Burton, nursing major from Minden; Emily Fuller, radiologic technology major from Monroe; Brittany Christine Jones, nursing major from West Monroe; Sara K. Leggitt, speech language pathology major from West Monroe; Kathryn A. Lonsberry, pre-professional health studies major from Monroe; Jennifer L.
