LSBDC-ULM to offer business plan workshop Jan. 16

The Louisiana Small Business Development Center at the University of Louisiana at Monroe will offer a workshop titled “Developing a Business Plan” from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 16, on the ULM campus.

The workshop will be held in the Administration Building, Room 2-105. The registration fee is $50 per person or two persons from the same business.

The workshop is for entrepreneurs who are actively planning or who recently started a new venture, are seeking financial assistance, or who want to improve and grow their business.

The workshop will teach participants, step by step, how to write a meaningful and complete business plan that will improve the likelihood of success. It will include marketing and financial plans designed to help participants set their goals and develop strategies to achieve those goals.

Each participant will receive a copy of “Business Plan in a Day” by small business consultant Rhonda Abrams.
