It's a birthday! KEDM 90.3 FM celebrates 20 years at ULM

KEDM 90.3 Public Radio is celebrating its 20th year on the air by hosting a light reception to commemorate the occasion.

The reception will be held on Tuesday, May 10, in the Media Room on the University of Louisiana at Monroe Library's sixth floor.

Guests are invited to the reception where ULM Director of University Broadcasting Joel Willer, ULM President Dr. Nick J. Bruno, and several long-time members and donors will speak to mark the event.

There will be a special birthday cake created by Thurman's Food Factory, along with coffee and punch.

KEDM is located on the campus of the University of Monroe and provides in-depth coverage of news and a variety of entertainment programs and music genres every day.

KEDM's commitment to providing supporters with quality programming unique to northeastern Louisiana and southeastern Arkansas makes the station an invaluable source for current news and eclectic music.

KEDM airs noted national programs such as Morning Edition, All Things Considered, Car Talk, A Prairie Home Companion, Performance Today and Marketplace.
