ULM trumpet recital to offer some brass to music lovers Nov. 28

On Monday, Nov. 28, a trumpet recital will be given by the University of Louisiana at Monroe Biedenharn Chair in Music Alex Noppe at 7:30 p.m. in the Emy-Lou Biedenharn Recital Hall.

Noppe will play five different trumpets during this performance, which is part of the ULM Faculty Artist Concert Series.

Dr. Richard Seiler will accompany on piano and Dr. Mel Mobley on percussion.

The repertoire will include Johann Frederich Fasch's "Concerto for Trumpet in D Major," Georges Enesco's "Legend," Eugene Bozza's "Caprice," and various other selections.

The concert is free and open to the public.
