ULM hosts International Education Expo Nov. 16

The University of Louisiana at Monroe International Education Council and International Students Association will co-host a cultural event to open a window into the world!

On Nov. 16 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the SUB Ballroom, students can view artwork, photos, clothing, textiles, tools, and maps illustrating various regions, as well as a display of the flags of the 49 countries represented by ULM students.

ULM international students will be on hand to write your name in Hindi, Arabic, Korean, or other languages during the expo.

Students may partake in an origami lesson, and international foods will be available for a small price. Students may also sample a variety of international beverages for free!

Students who are interested in studying in other countries are encouraged to visit the Study Abroad table for brochures, a computer database with links to a variety of programs both domestic and abroad, and scholarship information.

For information on this event, contact the ULM International office at: (318) 342-5225 or at international@ulm.edu.
