ULM Violence Prevention and Intervention Program to host Rape/Aggression Defense training April 30

The University of Louisiana at Monroe Violence Prevention and Intervention Program will host Rape/Aggression Defense training Monday, April 30, at 5:30 p.m. at North Delta Regional Training Academy, located at 420 Wheelis Street, West Monroe.

This course is designed to train participants on basic self-defense techniques when confronted by an aggressor who intends to perpetrate a sexual assault. Participants are instructed on safe and legally defensible techniques to prevent such victimization from occurring.

Training is free but is limited to 20 participants.
